FRESH is on the menu.

Chef Ali Shabani spent years methodically researching and developing the Rice Kitchen menu in his South Miami test kitchen, mining the family’s precious catalogue of Mediterranean recipes passed down through generations, and then modernizing those dishes in collaboration with patrons at his existing restaurants, family and culinary experts.

The result is a vibrant, inventive twist on classic Mediterranean flavors in the form of velvety, herb-infused dips, nutritious lush grains and slow-cooked, satisfying proteins. In keeping with Shabani family tradition, the bright and complex flavors you’ll find at Rice Kitchen come from expert blends of herbs and spices – not heavy fats and calorie-packed creams.

5 star ratingI LOVE Rice!

It's definitely my go-to spot.  Quick and tasty. Portion is big enough and very filling.  Also love the freshness and their points program gives me an incentive to visit more often!

Love this place - one of my fav mediterranean restaurants.

5 star ratingI come here for lunch every so often.

Very inexpensive place for lunch that delivers a consistent experience. Limited, simple menu with grilled meats, rice (duh), and salad (delicious Persian salad). The food is very good. Not very creative or exiting, but very good and quite healthy.

Expansive dining room that seats a couple hundred indoors, plus outdoor seating. Casual place with usual suit and tie crowd for lunch, everyone else in flip-flops. Forgettable decor, clean bathrooms.

Highly recommend it.

5 star ratingWanted to try something different ! We were in the area going to see a movie so decided to stop and get lunch. At first the menu seemed kind of confusing but I think it's just because it's not your average kind of cuisine. But the food was absolutely delicious!!!!! I also loved that they have baklava for dessert , it's one of my favorites ! Also love the craft soda ! Definitely more of a healthy feel which is so nice when surrounded by fast food in miami ! For sure we will be going back soon
